Hello,

first, sorry that I have to post it here, I know that it belongs to another section.
But my Gold Membership is not active now (2 months too late to ask) and I think that this is a kind of error that should be checked even without an membership status.

Like the title says, I have problems with reCaptcha in RSVPro, everything is configured like it should be (created new keys, entered them in configuration as well as checked the use v2 button) but on completing the captcha and submiting the form a Javascript PopUp apperas ans claims that there is an error with the Captcha Code. There must be some changes in Google reCaptcha because some time ago it worked fine.

Thanks in advance!

Yes - there have been changes at Google. They are phasing out the old version.

If you changed the config you should also change any session templates to use the v2. field too.

Hope that helps.

Thank you for your reply!
You mean I have to delete the session template and recreate it?
Cause I've added already a 'new' v2 captcha field to the session template without success.

No - should be no need to create a new session template, just replace the field in question within the session template.

If that doesn't resolve the issue - please tell me what versions of JEvents and RSVP Pro you are running and send me the URL for registration form for an event so I can see what javascript is being called.

Unfortunately replacing the field doesn't resolve the problem.

Here is the form:
http://dinnershow.europapark.de/de/tick ... inner-show

The Popup message tells in german that there was an error in the captcha, please try again...

JEvents Version: 3.4.17 Stable
RSVP Pro Version: 3.4.10 (Cannot update due to expired subscription)

Thank you for your assistance!

I get an JavaScript Error on submiting the form "There was an error in your Captcha code - please check and try again."

What's wrong?

Can you disable your javascript merging and compression settings - its not possible for me to debug the problem when they are enabled.

Thanks

Thanks - I can now see what is going on. Can you make the captcha field 'required' in the session template - this will check the value BEFORE the form is submitted.

If you can give me login details on the private 'site details' tab below I can take a closer look at what is going on.

Hello,

It's already marked as required, I have checked it one more time.
Unfortunately I can't grant your access to the backend, even not temporary as I have a contract with my customer that forbids me to do so :(

Any other idea?

Your site is running a very old version of jQuery (version 1.8.3 from November 2012) - whereas the code has all been tested to run with the version that comes with Joomla (version 1.12.4)

Is there a reason you are running this old version? If its loaded by your template - can you change any setting to get it more up to date?

I see that you have removed the captcha for now - can you create a test event using a template with captcha enabled so I can run it through a javascript debugger again.

thanks

Good Morning
I'm jumping in here, because I seem to have the same or similar problem.
I filled in the form (see attachment) and when I clicked the send button, I got a "the captcha is wrong" message (see second attachment.

I tested the standard contact form which uses recaptcha, and that worked without any problems.

I also checked the keys at google recaptcha and for this site it gave the following message:

We detected that your site is verifying reCAPTCHA passed solutions less than 50% of the time. This could indicate a problem with your integration with reCAPTCHA. Please see our developer site for more information.

Any ideas ?
Thanks in advance
Best regards

Hi again,
had to deactivate the captcha functionality because the site is active and the form doesn't work with captcha activated.
Now my client reports massive spam attack through the form, of course because there is no captcha integrated.
So I tried it again to activate it and the same problem persists, i'm on RSVP Pro 3.4.20.
My GOLD Membership is not valid anymore. Does it work now on 3.4.24 ?
Would like to know before apply for a new membership.

Thanks in advance

Sorry for the delay in responding - been suffering from a heavy cold so not very productive.

Can you create a clone of the site and give me login details on the private site details tab below and I'll take a look for you

Sorry for long time not answering, I don't have the possibility to clone it. Is there in the meantime a fix for that recaptcha problem?
If not, I would like to edit by myself the files that contain the captcha part, so that I can use another captcha system.
