This addon offers logged in site visitors the opportunity to register that they will attend an event. For repeating events you can choose if the registration for a single repeat or for the series as a whole.
After enabling this JEvents plugin you can choose to enable event registration when you create or edit an event. This plugin allows you to use the priority field of JEvents Core extension to show your events according to this priority/feature field.
This way you can create a featured events module or calendar.
When this plugin is enabled (and Display Priority option in JEvents configuration is enabled) it allows you to set a 'featured event' level for a menu or module. In other words you could mark some events as "priority 1" and then have a JEvents calendar or latest events module that ONLY displays priority 1 events.

This JEvents plugin allows you to restrict which events are visible in the frontend of your site. For example you can hide all past event, or all future events or event just show events from 1 week ago to 1 week in the future.

There is no need to type the same location every time you create a new event. Using the locations manager you will be able to share the same location with all your events and additionally, you will be able to show all the events that take place in that location.
The Standard Image and File Uploads addon allows yout to add standardised images and files to your events. These might be fliers, promotional images, PDF or XLS files or actually any kind of files you need. For images it also allows you to show an "add to pinterest" button with your images.

There are 2 types of article:
You can include a link to the article within the event description or choose to auto-redirect to the article itself (this is a plugin config option).
You can also create an article based on the event description and title at the same time as editing the event. This created article will use a content plugin to offer a link back to the event. You can also set the plugin so that the article will auto-redirect to the event description. It is not a good idea to auto redirect in both directions (for reasons that should be obvious !).
