Hi, I want to know if JEvents has these featured please :

- manage event creator (to know how event they create...)
- make fees on an event. For example if a user create a paid event, we want to get fees about this and give the creator his money less our fees.
- know when a user have ever paid his booking (via paypal) in order to update his status automatically in the backend
- display event in a slideshow, based on conditions (categories....)
- let a creator see his attenders or waiting list (perhap's with payment status)
- display time left before booking
- display several images for an event
- allow to print ticket/barcode
- configure several prices for several types of persons
- allow a user see his events and/or his bookin history on his community builder profile
- have early bird prices

I know there are a lot of question but I really need all thes featured and I do not find any event component which satisfy me.

Thanks by advance for your help

Irregular repeating events are supported by JEvents.

Step 1 : Create a set of regular repeating events as close to the pattern you want as possible. e.g. every 4 days or first and fourth Tuesday and Thursday of each mont etc.

Step 2 : Edit or delete the repeats you want to change or remove to modify their dates/times/descriptions etc.

Hi

Im looking for calendar component for joomla3 since some time now. Sadly i always get stuck with the same problem.
I need to create repeating Events, but not regularly repeating! All the extensions i treid require to set up the same event multiple times. Lots of unneccessary work, lots of unneccessary data.
I installed the latest Jevents but find the same issue.
Second issue would be linking to and from articles, or even have "just" articles.but i think u answered this question with addon 'Agenda/minutes'. i have to try.

My aim is to manage a lot of kind of events.
So, if my customer have event in a venue where there are seats, I want him to manage them.
For example, he could have a table where his participants can choose there seats.
It's a plugin we can think about if there is a need, for the future.

Thanks

Hello Myann,

Yes the tickets are created with HTML so you can do pretty much anything with it.

Very sorry to ask you so much question but :
can I really customize the ticket, for exemple :
propose a list of image, then when the user enter his event information, their will be printed on the image, as a real event ticket.

Field could be text, images, barrecode....

Is it possible ?

I would expect so - given we have Christmas coming up we could be flexible about the length of time to ask for a refund.

If I purchase the component on the end of this week, do you think I will have time to try barrecode/QR code and slideshow ??

I understand now.
I just have to think about ergonomy for my users. That's whay I said the plugin would transform an image list in gallery.
I will look for an extension which makes it, so perhap's I won't need to create a pluging but just a JS function to add a "wrap" code in the list. Do you understand what I mean?

The idea would be that the gallery would be linked to the event detail page so you would get a summary or a slideshow in your event description. See http://www.phoca.cz/demo/phocagallery-plugin?start=16 for a demo (try the other views)

You would still need to upload your images in the gallery component

Very nice from you.

But the plugin would be able to get the images the user d
upload ?? I do not understand how the user will uploads his images in phocagallery during the event creation. Unless He just have to upload the image in the editor, then with the plugin I detect them and add a content plugin code to transform the in gallery.

Does it what you think about?

The plugin would be fairly basic and I'd probably be able to create you the basic skeleton which you could style up/polish maybe?

I am not an expert in nothing.
I have skill in several programming languages but I think I do not have enough knowledges in Joomla core and MVC process. I am just a multimedia project manager.

If I have to modify a component, modules in a small part of the code, I do it (even if I avoid) but I have never buil my own extension.

It would not be difficult to create a plugin that auto-creates and links to a PhocaGallery category as part of the event creation process.

How are your coding skills?

Ok !!

I will see it. Because I need a complete integration with the event creation form. So my gallery extension will have to get the photos and make a gallery with them. I will see. Thanks so much.

I'll purchase the component when the slideshow (and the barrecode) is going to be ready. (sorry to talk about it so much but it's so important)

You can upload images to an event (see http://www.jevents.net/products/standar ... le-uploads) or you can use a content plugin to display a Joomla gallery component within the event. I'm fairly certain PhocaGallery has such a plugin
