Hi, I want to know if JEvents has these featured please :

- manage event creator (to know how event they create...)
- make fees on an event. For example if a user create a paid event, we want to get fees about this and give the creator his money less our fees.
- know when a user have ever paid his booking (via paypal) in order to update his status automatically in the backend
- display event in a slideshow, based on conditions (categories....)
- let a creator see his attenders or waiting list (perhap's with payment status)
- display time left before booking
- display several images for an event
- allow to print ticket/barcode
- configure several prices for several types of persons
- allow a user see his events and/or his bookin history on his community builder profile
- have early bird prices

I know there are a lot of question but I really need all thes featured and I do not find any event component which satisfy me.

Thanks by advance for your help

Hello Myann,

Yes it is. You can use the Standard Image and File uploads plugin. It's also possible to display them in list views.

Hello,

1. Yes
2. Yes I believe VM allows this.
3. I have been talking with Geraint today, and as VM as quite a way behind with future development releases. We are going to look at generalising the RSVP Pro payment gateways. But this is most definitely not a priority feature and will be done when we have time.

Many thanks
Tony

Ho, it's a pity!

Ok, can I have prices for 1 event and another for 10 events ??

So I could make discount.
Can I give paid event plugin access only for certain usergroups?

If I modify the plugin, the problem is the same about the updates..so I will avoid.

If I could any other paypal plugin it would be perfect. I will think about it.

Hello Myann,

No it is a set fee. You could I suppose duplicate the plugin with a new name etc and have multiple plugins doing the same thing for different usergroups..

But this maybe tricky with the PaidEvents Product in VM

Ok, I understand, so now I have to search where I can do that in CBSubs (I just know I can put the user in a specific group or give a cb field a specific value)...I will see it.

Is it possible to have different prices in paid events plugin depending on the usergroup/access level ?

Yes, He said he is planning a slideshow...I hope it's very soon.

Hello Myann,

Thank you for your kind words :).

This is a CSubs topic really. But basically, rather than having the paid events plugin handle the query on checkout and update the database / Virtuemart you could manually map it. I.E. on checkout of SCubs run this query, give user x 100 event tokens.

I have never done it, but it is in theory possible.

I know Geraint is planning the slideshow relatively soon...

Hi,
I love your forum, you reply so quickly !!

The feature you talked about interest me even if CBSUbs do it. Nevertheless, I do not understand what you mean about mapping a query.....Can you explain me with more details please? I have knowledge in php/mysql.

I am so glad to know you propose this offer. But I have to wait the barrecode and slideshow features because I want to try them during these 30days. I can't do without slideshow and I don't want neither buy another modules nor modify your code so much (because of updates). I will have to modify it a little bit, because I want to add a condition for displaying the events. I have a 3rd component with a calendar where I'll put some event name. So, I want the module displays only events which are in this calendar. I have ever done it on my actual module, so I will be able to do it again. In the slideshow I will have, I just want to modify this part of the code and de style with CSS...if it's possible

Thank you very very much for your reply. This is my best support experience.

Hello Myann,

I actually modified the Paid Event Submission to upgrade a users group and downgrade when they run out of credit should you wish these are options.

Now, you could use just CSubs with the Paid Event Submission and map a query into the CSubs SQL Query.
However, this would require knowlage of php/MySQL and is quite complex.

If you find JEvents is not usable for your purposes we do offer a refund within 30days.

Tony

Ho, very good news, unless for virtuemart. Is not there another way ??

Geraint, I can't see the page you gave me because I don't have club membership yet.

Yes, about the limitation of event number, I mean the number of event a user of a specific usergroup can create, because I want to create a process with CBSubs where the user can purchase a one year subscription with which he will be in a specific usergroup, then he will able to create certain number of events.

I will think about it.

Thanks for your other answers. I'll wait forward news about the barrecode/QR code and the slideshow.

Hello Myann,

Ahh yes this is possible with a template override for the module.

Thanks a lot,
I looked your demo and I have question about it :
- is virtuemart mandatory for paid event submission ??
To charge for Event Submissions Yes, but not for RSVP Pro
- can I customize the event registration form ?
Yes, to however you like
- limit the number of events by usergroup/access level?
Do you mean limit the number of events users can create? you would need the paid event submission plugin for this

So, it barrecodes/QR codes and slideshow (with image, title, price and dates/hours) arrive sooner, I think I will choose JEvents. For this moment I can't purchase JEvent + a slideshow modules. It becomes so expensive.

Unfortunately, I have the pressure of time. So I look for a component quickly.

Thanks
Myann

Or do you mean tool tips with a summary of the events on each day?

If so then please see http://www.jevents.net/jevents-15-topme ... dar-module

this club member article shows how to add this sort of information to your calendar module display

No, I'm not. My english is poor.

On some calendar modules, when you put the cursor over a specific date, it displays the number of events published for this date, their names, hours....

Can I have a reply for others questions please? I know, I ask so much questions, sorry, but I do not want to invest in another component I will not use. I have ever lost money.

Thanks
