Hi everyone,
we would like the "view by month" as the default module (jevents-forum-screenshot-01.png).
We do not like (for our purposes) the "default calendar view" (screenshot-02).
How do we create a module that generates automatically that "view by month"?

So the one on the right is a module... :/ the one on the left is a proper menu item view.
So in the Menu manager, edit the menu item and set type to be: JEvents -> Monthly View

Are you familiar with Joomla? It's just standard Joomla! setup of a menu item? Please see:
https://docs.joomla.org/Help39:Menus_Menu_Item_Display_Site_Configuration
And when you select 'Menu Item Type' you Click JEvents -> View by month
