Hi there,

I'm using JEvents as a community calendar; community partners have a Joomla login and are authorized to add/edit events. Trouble is, they can ONLY post an event in the CURRENT category. Which is workable if need be, but this can't be how it is intended? (See Screen Shot)
http://healthykidsmanitoulin.com/images/JEvents-ss.jpg (Sorry, apparently, I can't post links).

I had the same issue with the drop down in category view (http://healthykidsmanitoulin.com/all-community-events) which is why I elected not to show it at all.

Any insights, please?
Thank you!

Hi Gina,
can you please check your JEvetns Category Access Level and permissions? What permissions configuration do you have for your Event editors?

Hah!
You're absolutely right... when I log in with super admin credentials, I can choose categories :)
Thank you!
