Problem with editing events after upgrade joomla 3.8

What version did you update from?
Did you clear your browser cache?
Can you provide your JEvents Support Information from your JEvents Control Panel.
Is this in frontend and backend?

The update is from Joomla 3.4. I restored a backup of the site with joomla 3.4: no problems. Updating this backup to 3.81 (as is the live website): the problem returns. An separate backup with joomla version 3.8 also has the problem.
The problems occur in frontend and back-end, although they are slightly different as I stated in the original post. Clearing the browser-cache doesn't solve the problem. I have also tried different browsers (firefox, chrome, iPad) with the same results.

I have a similar problem in front- and backend.
Since the update to Joomla 3.8 I can´t create or edit events because I am just not able to save them. The buttons have no function. Only the cancel button is working.

I did clear my browser cache, no effect

Ok - in my case I found the problem in the use of joomlashines plugin pagebuilder 3! if you deactivate the editor plugin everything works just fine.
