Since updating to Joomla 3.8 im unable to edit or create events. hen editing or creating an event via the frontend i get a page with just three buttons: Save, Save & close and close. Neither of these buttons react on clicking.
When i try to edit an event via the back-end there is just an ampty page with no buttons at al. When i try to go to the configuration of jevents, there is an plain formatted page with all the configuration-options. No buttons for saving et cetera appear on screen.
What to do?

Hello,

What version did you update from?
Did you clear your browser cache?
Can you provide your JEvents Support Information from your JEvents Control Panel.
Is this in frontend and backend?

Many thanks
Tony

The update is from Joomla 3.4. I restored a backup of the site with joomla 3.4: no problems. Updating this backup to 3.81 (as is the live website): the problem returns. An separate backup with joomla version 3.8 also has the problem.
The problems occur in frontend and back-end, although they are slightly different as I stated in the original post. Clearing the browser-cache doesn't solve the problem. I have also tried different browsers (firefox, chrome, iPad) with the same results.

The info you asked for:

PHP Version : 7.0.22
MySQL Version : 5.5.5-10.1.26-MariaDB

I have a similar problem in front- and backend.
Since the update to Joomla 3.8 I canĀ“t create or edit events because I am just not able to save them. The buttons have no function. Only the cancel button is working.

Thanks in advance

Ok - in my case I found the problem in the use of joomlashines plugin pagebuilder 3! if you deactivate the editor plugin everything works just fine.
