No user name after "by" on created event

If you edit this event as the JEvents admin user what do you see in the creator field?

Is it possible that a user created an event and the user has subsequently been deleted from the system?

I was also going to point out, please check if you have a custom Event Edit Page layout in JEvents -> Custom layouts

IS it enabled? If so, make sure the creator field is included within this layout. Otherwise it may not be able to set the creator.

You are attempting to publish a customised layout that is the same as the default layout - it has therefore NOT been published since this is not necessary and can lead to complications at a later date. You should only publish a layout if it has been customised.

No need to publish, if it was published it would have been having an effect.

Can you send me super user login details and logins of the user having the issue please?

That is interesting.

Can you enable debug mode in Joomla! and also maximum error reporting and also finally enable your browser console and view the event creation page again?

I think this might be related with your server configuration. Can you please try to increase max_input_vars setting in your php.ini configuration to 2000 ?

My hipothesis is that with max_input_vars=1000 son parameters are not being correctly saved and then the event is being saved with no event creator related to it.

can you please try creating a new event so see if the Event Creator field gets populated?
