Hi,
I've answered to your last answer but my English is not so good so read that answer and also this summary.

1) I need that you solve the date format problem as explained in the other answer

2) I need that users see events near them, but they don't search by street. They simply see events near them when they enter on my site and after they can use categories and tags for searching. I don't think this consume calls to geoservice because browser give you latitude and longitude. I accept to consume a geoservice call when I create a venue or modify the address of this venue

3) I want to update JEvents without breaking it so modify my files only if you modify the original JEvents

4) there is also this ticket: https://www.jevents.net/discussions/graphical-bug-on-resize and this: https://www.jevents.net/discussions/small-graphical-bugs

I hope now it's clear.

Thanks for your precious help (you have admin data of my site in the other answer)

Hello,

1) What date / Answer was that? We have a lot of post from many users.

2) You can use JEvents Managed Locations and the radius filter? It will request the location in the browser using the JEvents Filter Module.

3) No core files should be modified

4) Both now have been solved.

Many thanks
Tony

Hi,
1) I rewrite. I had dates in format YYYY-DD-MM. You did some changes to have DD-MM-YYYY and now I have "27.Dicembre 20192019-12-27" that is obviously not correct (Dicembre is December in my language)

2) Ok so I have the new filter that not call the "expansive reverse address"? I mean this on https://www.jevents.net/discussions/how-to-design-my-sitehttps://www.jevents.net/discussions/how-to-design-my-site

You've just pointed out something very obvious that I hadn't thought about - the current filter works on the physical address so when we 'auto-filter on location' we take the geo-coordinates and convert this into an address then submit the form. In your situation you don't want to generate the address so we can just use the geo-coordinates and skip finding the address. This would then mean you only need to use MapQuest/Nomatim when creating an event! To do this I will need to create a new filter - the downside of this is that if the geo-location in the browser is incorrect the user wouldn't even know where the website thinks they are.

3) ok

4) No. I see the same page as always

Is more than one month that I have those errors.Look if you can correct it or I will rewrite a new post because is becoming difficoultous also for me

Thanks!

Hello,

1) So you want: dd-MM-YYY is that correct?

2) I'll remind Geraint to review.

4) I have added the CSS I asked you to add for you in post 1. Post 2 I partially solved, we can take the rest up in that post though.

Many thanks
Tony

Hello,

I have changed it to use language string 4 as per:

https://www.jevents.net/frequently-asked-questions/time-formatting-in-jevents

Should you wish to change it any more you can just perform a language override for that constant.

Many thanks
Tony
