I would like to publish different calendars on my web site.
This works fine.
However I have issues with custom fields and access control and layout
1) I need a different set of custom fields on calendar one versus calendar two versus calendar three.
2) I do not succeed in configuring the permissions. User 1 must have a certain set of permissions on calendar one but a different set of permissions on calendar two and three
3) I would like to configure a different layout when viewing calendar entries of calendar one versus calendar two versus calendar three. I succeeded in modifying the layout but it applies to all calendars

I'm using Joomla 3.x and the latest download of jevents en RSVP Pro

Thanks

1. In the custom fields addon you can specify which categories the fields apply to
2. Did you edit the permissions on the category edit pages?
3. Did you use the category drop down filter on the custom layout editor list - this would allow you to specify a different layout per category.

Calendars are primarily containers for events - the features you are looking at are only available for category I'm afraid.

Can you organise your data to use categories instead of calendars for this control?

I could use categories to split the calendars.
But even there I'm having the same troubles:

1) I need a different set of custom fields for category one versus category two versus category three.
2) I do not succeed in configuring the permissions. User 1 must have a certain set of permissions on category one but a different set of permissions on category two and three
3) I would like to configure a different layout when viewing calendar entries of category one versus category two versus category three. I succeeded in modifying the layout but it applies to all categories

Thanks for the guidance. I had not found the options. It is solved now. The issue may be closed. Thanks.
