The back end admin menu for jEvents includes only "Uninstall".
I installed the latest JEvents (3.4.20) onto my Joomla! 3.6.2 site. I rolled straight into the configuration of jEvents and then created my first test events. I then configured a module to locate my test calendar on the front page. All appeared to be working. However, at this point I could find no way back to jEvents as the only menu option available from the Admin Menu is Uninstall. I uninstalled and reinstalled JEvents several times, all with the same result. Using Jevents 3.2.21 also gave the same result. It all seems to be working other than for the missing entries in the Admin Menu. Suggestions on how to resolve this problem appreciated.

Thank you, your mention of the admin template helped me solve the problem. Because the admin template created the additional "Uninstall" sub menu item, I was expecting to find "Manage Calendars", Manage Events", Manage Categories", etc also as sub menu items. Instead, if I simply select JEvents from the Component Menu, the JEvents control panel is presented and all JEvents function are available there. Thanks :D

Try going to
http://YOUDOMAIN/administrator/index.php?option=com_menus&view=menus
and clicking the "rebuild" button - does that help?

If not then you could ask your admin template developer since the 'unintsall' option isn't part of the standard Joomla admin menu system
