I can't link to the main calendar, nor can I get the monthly calendar when I click on an event description and go to that post...I can get the year, but not all links work. They worked a few weeks ago.
I have updated to the latest JEvents - twice and still the issue remains. I cannot find the trouble. See it at
http://www.stmatthewsottawa.ca
I now see ical in the event description where I didn't before. Although I didn't change that in the configuration area.
Any advice....pleeeeease!

You need to create a JEvents menu item somewhere on your site and set the target menu item in your upcoming events module to point to it.
Your existing calendar menu item (http://www.stmatthewsottawa.ca/index.php/component/jevents/eventsbyyear/2017/-?Itemid=1) is just an external URL menu item
