I am using the List of Events option as a menu item. The table displayed has been configured to display several events with columns for Start Date, Start time, Title Link and Location Title. It looks good, but now I want to show this data in an article. I can do it by means of a Module referencing the hidden Menu, but then a link has to be pressed to display the List of Events. Anyway for list of events to be displayed in the article rather than a link to it? I am new to Joomla.

You could use the latest events module and format the output in columns if you wanted to - see https://www.jevents.net/frequently-asked-questions/custom-format-strings for formatting options
