Hi,

I´m dealing with events which run over a longer period (2 month+). On my startpage I´m showing those events (grouped by category) by use of JEvents - Latest Events Module. Find attached tow screenshots how module config and start/end settings of a example event look like.

How would I configure Latest Events Module to:
- show currently on going Events. (Definition: Today is between Start- and Enddate of the Event)
- all events of the category whose startday in the 60 days

Thanks!

Toni

P.s.: Display Modes 2&3 seem to be close what I´m looking for but they look before / ahead by defined days depending on the startdate?! Not if the event is currently ongoing.

Hello Toni,

Thank you!

Ok so I can see the answer in your screenshots :-);

On your last screenshot see 'Multiday event treatment' is set to display on the first day. If you want to show it always if it's occurring you can set this to 'Display Once even if the event started in the past'.

Doing that should solve your problems.

Many thanks
Tony

Tony,

It´s you again ! Thanks for your help!

Unfortunately it´s not just the format of a shown date. But wheather an event is shown or not. Let me give you an example:
Given is an event with following calendar settings:

Bildschirmfoto 2018-09-28 um 10.35.24.png

With following latest events settings:

Bildschirmfoto 2018-09-28 um 10.36.21.png

This event is not shown as stardate 2018/05/29 is over 120 days in the past. (If I understand mode 3 correctly it checks 120 days before and after today).

Question: Is there a mode that outputs events
- regardless of their startdate in past
- if the event is "active", in other words the enddate is in future
- the startdate is in next X days

Thanks a million!

Hello,

So you seem to have it working fairly well for the events but the dates are a bit incorrect? I would suggest you look at;
https://www.jevents.net/frequently-asked-questions/custom-format-strings

and see;

${eventDate} = The date being looked at - if you are showing events over the next 7 days and a multiday event has already started then this date may be midway through the event.

Many thanks
Tony
