Hi

the module "Latest events" does not show the category colours any more. It used to work in the past.
This is what the CSS Inspector says:
border-bottom-color: #faca0a;
border-collapse: collapse;
border-left-color: #faca0a;
border-left-width: 0px;
td.mod_events_latest_first 2px jevcustom.css:31
border-right-color: #faca0a;
border-spacing: 0px 0px;
border-top-color: #faca0a;

I think the problem is caused by the line
"border-left-width: 0px;"

This happens despite the fact that in jevcustom.css I put the following line

td.mod_events_latest_first, td.mod_events_latest {
border-left-width: 2px!important;
}

For some unknown reason, this command is ignored.

Thank you and kind regards
Chris

Hello Chris,

Did you clear your browser cache after the change?

Many thanks

Hi Tony

1st example: https://stadtschuetzen-luzern.ch/ (please ignore the content of the website, it is one of my customers but I do not agree with his opinion).
The same effect occurs on various websites of other customers. Maybe I did some miscustomization, but then I installed a new Jevents on a test website and we have the same effect here:
2nd example: https://rimle.ch/playground/
There are no entries in jevcustom.css.

Kind regards
Chris

Hi Chris,

I can't see anything on 2. But it would usually indicate some CSS overriding/clashing.

Many thanks
Tony

Hi Tony

CSS overriding/clashing can not be the cause. https://playground.rimle.ch/ is now an absolutely new, clean installation with Protostar template. There are no category colours. Even on your demo website https://www.jeventsdemo.net/date-range the module "Upcoming Events" does not show category colours.

Kind regards
Chris

It is down to CSS. Depending on the theme selected for example if you use the Alternative theme you will get the category colours.

Many thanks
Tony
