Hi,
i recently updated a very outdated Joomla-Website (2.5.x) to the recent version 3.9.18 and also updated every used component.
Now i'm finished and realized that on the month view of JEvents 3.4.55 i get ugly html-code:

YPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/loose.dtd">

You can see it live on this website https://www.noefbv.at/termine.html
The rest of the site isn't showing me this code so i think it must have to do with JEvents. I deinstalled it and tried it with 3.4.44 but there is also this code showing.
I search in every file for this doctype but i didn't found anything.

Can anyone help me to find the problem or is this a bug?

Hi,
i am using Astroid Framework with Zero Template but the code is also showing if i use other templates like beez3 or protostar.

Important to note: If I use the preview function for a template https://www.noefbv.at/termine.html?tp=1 the code is not showing.
But I see in the preview other module positions which are not from the templates with style xhtml outline.
Position: jevprejevents or Position: jevprejevents_month.calendar
Maybe these loading of positions is generating the output of the code?

Edit:
If I deactivate the plugin "content - loadmodule" the ugly code went away and i see the loading call from JEvents:
{loadposition jevprejevents}, {loadposition jevprejevents_month.calendar}
Also the month-view is displayed right.

If i activate the plugin againg the Doctype is again showing and the month-view is not displaying right.
I tried to change the setting of the plugin to other things like table but it makes no difference.

Edit2 and solution:
I got it :D
An other plugin was the problem. My predecessor installed a plugin for generating different image sizes automatically. I deactivated it and now JEvents is showing right. I will check the other plugin. Sorry for using your time for a problem which has nothing todo with JEvents.

Kind regards

Hello,

This is a badly coded theme by the looks of it.

Check index.php within the theme for this code?
