tonyp please help us on this issue asap. Kindly find the site details.

Please check 'Testing RSVP Pro' template. The fields 'Attention To' & ' Invoice No' are restricted to superusers.
Those fields are not appearing in front end (http://events.ewi.org.sg/index.php/component/jevents/eventdetail/10/-/test-rsvp-pro?Itemid=101), but under RSVP Pro -> Sessions, we are not able to edit/add our(superuser) input to those two fields. RSVP Pro.png Please see attached screenshot for your reference & help to find a way to edit those superuser accessed fields.

Note: we have also set the field access level to 'SuperUsers'

I am unable to recreate this problem on my test system. I tried to reconfigure your Groups/Access levels so they match my system but it made no difference. I think the only way to resolve this would be to insert debug code into your system or to get an Akeeba Backup of it for testing offline. Both of these are outside of the scope of what I am willing to do as just another user.

tonyp will have to assist. Please post the access instructions in the Site Details section so he can take a look as soon as he reads this posting and so that he doesn't need to ask for them delaying the resolution.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

I see what you mean. I will try and recreate on my test system and if I can do so I should be able to fix it. I am quite busy today so probably not until tomorrow.

Which field(s) are you having a problem with? They all appear to be public and the admin ID you gave me can edit all the fields.

And the back end administrators are part of the Super Users group? If so then something else is going on and access to your site may be required. Perhaps tonyp can weigh in on what might be happening. The Access level is the way to go but perhaps there is something else that needs to be set.

Where in the backend are you trying to access the field?

Under Sessions, where all the registrations are stored and can be processed by admin. RSVP Pro - Sessions.png

The very last entry of each element is a dropdown box called Access Level. Select an access level that administrators have but regular users do not.

Yes this step done.. but still not able to edit the field in backend. we have set the field access to ''super users'

OK, another way to solve this might be through access level. Change the Access level of the field to admin, then it will not display for normal users and will display for administrators. If you do this remove the class name I gave you above.

Many thanks for your reply. We have set the field access to "super Users" but not able to edit that field in backend.

Add type2paramHidden to the CssClassName entry for the fields you do not wish to display.

This works, but our requirement is to hide the field only from front-end user and still editable by admin in beck-end.

For eg: 'Invoice Name', 'Payment received' fields can be hidden in front-end(website) but we(admin of back-end) must be able to edit/update those fields from back-end, like how we have 'Attendance Notes' in RSVP PRO -> Sessions (pls see attached)

RSVPPro.png

Even after we get the registraion from user, we must be able to update their details in Hidden fields (hidden only from front end users)

Please help !!

First things you should know is that fields in templates are unique, even if you copy a template all of the fields will be renamed to give them unique names and unique database entries. So changing a field in one template does not affect another template.

Given that you can decide which fields you wish to hide by template and add the class name to the appropriate fields. I include a screen shot of the option in the field parameters.
