If I set everything in the ACL in the editors group, see attachment.
And I leave the rights for creating an event set to inherited, then I can edit and delete everything in my management menu.

If I set the creation rights to denied in the ACL, I get a notification, see attachment

Being able to edit an event means you can change everything in it - dates, title, description etc. This is in essence creating a new event and deleting an old one. So you need to leave the permission to create events enabled to be able to edit events.

JEvents Club members can get priority forum support at the Support Forum. As well as access to a variety of custom JEvents addons and benefits. Join the JEvents club today!
