Hello My Problem:
Dataloss on the Server, backup only for the Database done.
Old Joomla was 2.528, Jevents was 3.0.9?(not sure)
SO a new Installation of joomla and also of Jevents was now done.
Copy of the tables of the database done by Hand, some Adaptions necessary, but Joomla 3.4.7 is running, and all Contents, cats and so on are available again and run properly.
But Jevents doesn`t Show the old cats and Events.
When i looked in the Migration Support, there is written, that i have to delete the following tables, before Migration with the php script:
j25_jevents_categories
j25_jevents_exception
j25_jevents_catmap
j25_jevents_icsfile
j25_jevents_repbyday
j25_jevents_repetition
j25_jevents_rrule
j25_jevents_vevdetail
j25_jevents_vevent
j25_jev_defaults
j25_jev_users
Interesting is, that j25_jevents_categories, j25_jevents_repbyday was never in the database, but jevents was running!
Now the question, in which table are the cathegries and the Events them self stored?
How can i Transfer the cats and the Events from the old database to the new one? both on the same Server, just different database names and tableprefixes.
would be grat if someone could help, i was trying now for days without reaching any target.

Hello Thomas,
What I would tend to recommend is updating your original Site to Joomla! 3.4 via the Joomla! updater and then copying the Joomla! Categories and assets tables over with the JEvents tables.
JEvents 3.x uses the Joomla! Categories table and therefore where you problem lies.
