Hi,

I'm on Joomla 3.4 and i installed the german translation update when it pops up through the joomla automatic update. When i check again or logout+login the update notice pops up again.

Curious is that it worked on a different joomla 2.5.8 site without problems. After the update I have on both sites the newer (better ;) ) translations. But just on the 3.4-site the update notice pops up again.

It seems like the installed version is version 3.2.3, but the xml-file on the server shows that 3.2.4 is available. Maybe the version stepup in the install file was forgotten? <!-- s:geek: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_geek.gif" alt=":geek:" title="Geek" /><!-- s:geek: -->

No, it doesn't help. I also did the instructions to save content languages again (but my site isn't multilingual and so i also hadn't the infinite loop error).

Please check to see if the translation file is listed more than once in the Joomla extensions manager (manage tab)

Manually deleting the older one hides the version notice.

Hi,

I had the same issue and deleting the older translation fixed the problem.
The only problem since then is that many of the translations are gone.
The Events latest is now completely in english which is not a big problem but the "View Full Calender" is now visible in the frontend which was "Ganzen Kalender anzeigen".
Is that a problem of the language file? As far as I could remember this text could be specified in the module parameters but I cannot find it anymore.

After deleting i also missed some parts, but then i installed the version from the homepage

on top and then i have it working as it should. But i wonder why i then didn't found another translation version installed. But it works and that counts. :D
