The "Standard File 1" and "Standard Image 1" won't delete once entered into event description. The delete button appears to work but then, on save, they come back.

Some settings I've checked and experimented are below. What am I missing?

Upload Images (and Files) Level are set to allow Super Users and Administrators. I am a Super User.

Other settings:
- Folder: jevents
- Allow Repeat Specific Overrides: tried no and yes.
- Use Joomla media manager to select and upload images: tried no and yes.

Versions:
- JEvents - Core Administrator Component 3.4.47
- JEvents - File and Image uploads for Event Descriptions Site Plugin 3.7.15
- Joomla: 3.8.10

Hello,

Do you have a JEvents Custom Event Edit page? I've seen this before when the standard image and files tag has been included twice.

Many thanks
Tony

Thank you for responding and apologies for the delay. I wanted to try this on another site with fewer extensions.

On both sites I've tried this, "Event Edit Page" is not published.

I found that images and files can be replaced, but not deleted.

Thanks! That worked. We did already have JEVFiles 3.7.15. Does the above file contain a bug fix?

I see it's an older topic but I report the same issue. After install the attached "JevFiles" I was able to remove image 1 but still not standard file 1. Do you have a solution for this issue?

I created a custom layout for the event details page. But it doesn't matter if this view is active. As well with the default layout I cannot remove the file.

Regards
Fabian

We installed the .zip file that is in this forum post, and it fixed the issue.

I don't know if they incorporated the fix into an actual release.

Unfortunately it doesn't fix the issue on our customers page. I just installed it but as well tried to first uninstall "JEvents - Image upload". Picture removal was possible afterwards but not the "Standard file 1" in which I uploaded a PDF file.
