I have just tried adding a menu item to my site to allow exporting all events. I have a couple of problems. The first is that when I select categories only some categories are shown, most are not.
Secondly, I get an error message when I try to export

That was resolved in version 3.6.5 - there is unfortunately another issue in selecting years which will be resolved in version 3.6.6 
If you unzip and upload this file to components/com_jevents/controllers/icals.php it should resolved both issues
