I am considering purchasing a subscription. I am wondering if the component meets all of these requirements natively or if additional extensions would be required?

This site will function as a mini Eventbrite. It will allow users to purchase event tickets. Vendors will be charged on a subscription basis for access. Venodrs will be able to post their own events and set ticket prices.

Also, does the JTicketing component offer additional functionality over what JEvents offers?

Hi Tony,

Thanks I will purchase a gold membership. I am still wondering about JTicketing. What are your thoughts on this extension? How easy is it to integrate with JEvents? Does it offer additional functionality not provided by JEvents (and Pro extensions)?

Thanks!

OK, thanks for your reply.

Going back to the Membership System requirement in my OP, here is how this would work. It would be set up for vendors who are posting events to the site. Two access levels would be established:
1) Basic - Post events, sell tickets. No posting images, only one event per month, maximum 10 attendees.
2) Premium - Full access to use all the functionality of JEvents.

Please note that I am not extremely particular about the limitations of the basic account level. I would like to place the easiest possible limitations on the JEvents Basic members in an attempt to upsell them to Premium membership. I am open to suggestions on this.

Is this possible?

Thanks.

Hello,

Using Joomla! 2.5 this would be possible using the built in ACL. But for allowing them to buy upgrades etc you will need another Joomla! component to control this.

Tony
