Hi

I have read the post on jtouch but need confirmation that the mobile module will work with jtouch.

Also It would be great to see a working example of jevents module from a mobile device preferably using jtouch.

Also I have read that you can carry on using any silver downloads ie mobile and themes etc, after the subscription ends. It sounds as though I am being a scrooge, but I am developing for a charity, and there resources are linited.

If all ok I will recommend to board that we purches Silver.

Thanks

Hi srw1mpo,
Do you mean this thread:

<!-- l --><a class="postlink-local" href="http://www.jevents.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&;t=7895&p=90221]viewtopic.php?f=17&t=7895&p=90221[/url]<!-- l -->

?

I have not tested it but right now we provide a mobile layout that will be shown when using a mobile device and I think it should work with jtouch. Probably Geraint might give you more info about it.

Once your subscription ends you will be able to keep using the software but if you do no renew it you will not be able to get updates or access to club benefits.

Also you may use our extensions in all the sites you need.

The Iconic layout (http://www.jevents.net/products/club-layoutsthemes) now has a 'responsive' setting that auto modifies the layout to match the available space. That should work on your smartphone devices.

Also there is a smartphone layout you could use that can be switched to by the mobile template.

Yes that's the thread

Does the iconic layout need silver subscription?

Also I have looked at this using a smartphone, but need to know what it will look like on jtouch before we buy.

Do youi know of an example site that uses jtouch?

Many thanks

Yes, iconic layout needs silver subscription.

I'm afraid I do not know any site that uses jtouch. I have tried to download the latest free release of the component for testing but I only got 404 errors right now :(

Jtouch works fantastic on our site. The only thing that doesn't look right is the monthly calendar.

I really need to know what it will look like with jtouch before I recommend we buy it. I don't want to advise we buy it then it not work. As I said we are a charity and funds are very limited?

I have set it up quickly on a test site:

http://devspot.co.uk/JE2/index.php/jeve ... 13/04/18/-

So you can see it's responsiveness.

Tony

Another question please.

On this page

http://www.jevents.net/jevents-club/features-chart

It says that 'club layouts','Calendar Specific Menus/Modules' require Gold Membership.

Yet this page

http://www.jevents.net/jevents-club/joi ... lub/levels

says you get "•Extra layouts like the Ruthin, Extplus and Iconic layout on the demo site (more will be added later)" with Silver.

What themes/layouts do you get with Silver membership and do you get 'Calendar Specific Menus/Modules' with Silver?

Thanks

It is a mistake - the page is badly formatted in the features chart due to a CSS error.

Thanks for pointing it out - these addons are silver membership addons.

I thought something wasn't right.

The organisation I am helping is called Mhist.

So the subscription will be under that name or email address and not my username.

I am sending the details to the boss so he can subscribe to silver.

Thanks for your help, see you in the silver forum.
