Hello,

No, it's another view i.e. another menu item type like: Date Range..

Many thanks
Tony

Hello,

Yes it is. You would need to customise the List Row custom layout. Then include the desired color tag, noting it would need to be adding with some inline-css you want the color to be applied too.

Many thanks
Tony

I tried to change the custom layout (changes in icalevent.list_row) and published it. But whatever I do at the custom layout, it doesn´t take any effect in the Event list.
Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Sorry for the delay, I've been suffering with tendonitis and had to rest.

Did you publish the custom layout?

Many thanks
Tony

Thank you! It sounds like you may have a custom template override in place. Check in: Templates/your_Template/html/com_jevents/

Is anything in there?

There is no "com_events" in Templates/your_Template/html/
(see attached screenshot)

So the change should take place then, unless you have a category specific custom layout in place?

Many thanks
Tony

There is no category specific custom layout.

By the way:
I have a custom layout for the Event Detail Page (icalevent.detail_body) and that is working fine.
But it is not working for List Row Detail (icalevent.list_row) :(

At the two attached screenshots you see the config and the result. The result (just displaying title, time and location) which has nothing to do with the config.

Hello,

So screenshot 22.jpg cannot be changed with a list row custom layout.

That is a list of events view, which formats the columns as you select the data. There is nothing to be customised, if you want to use the list row custom layout then you need to use another list view like Date Range.

Many thanks
Tony

OK, that explains a lot . . .

if you want to use the list row custom layout then you need to use another list view like Date Range.

Could you give me hint how to use? Is it a module which can be inserted via load_module ?

Hi Tony,
I got it. Changed to type date range and it worked like a charm :)
The Knowledge came slow and late . . . but it came to me ;)
