Hello,
After upgrading Joomla to 3.9.3 and Jevents to 3.4.49 some of the categories and a lot of the events are missing. They are not showing in the admin backend or on the website. Any help to recover the missing events is greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Thanks for that tip. Yes the category was in the categories table in the database. However the published state was -2. After changing the state to 1 in the table, the category and associated events are now showing. Any idea how the published state could have changed to -2?

Thanks for your help.

Hello,

Then they certainly should be there. JEvents hasn't changed anything to do with the categories since V3.7. Can you check they are not trashed? Also, you can look into the _categories table in the database to see if you can still see them in there?

Many thanks
Tony

Hello,

-2 = Trashed

So in the category manager you can set ' - Select Status - ' and put it to: All or Trashed.

Many thanks
Tony
