I have been using JEvents for over a year now quite successfully and I am well aware of how to add authorized users, I do it a lot but all of a sudden it doesn't work. When I upgrade a registered user to Promoter status, the user still does not show in the list. No settings have been changed since the last time I did this a couple of days ago. The only thing I did was update Community Builder but still, a user is a user. Here is the stuff you asked for:

I have the permissions set so the user group Promoters is able to Create Events and Edit Own Events. Then if a user wants to be able to post events I add them to the Promoter group in Joomla then their name appears on the Authorized Users list. Oops, I just realized I was doing it wrong, I must have been really tired last night.
Thank you for your time, totally my fault, all is OK.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

What are your settings in:

JEvents -> Configuration -> Permissions ?

Are you adding the user to a usergroup to be able to create events? Or the JEvents Authorised User Mode?

Many thanks
Tony
