I'm planning to use JEvents for a web site. Therefore it would be very helpful if JEvents would be updated by the Joomla! updater. Is this possible and do I have to buy a subscription to be able to do so?`

Hello,
JEvents core can be updated with the Joomla! updater without a subscription, you only need a subscription for club addons :-).
