Calendar showing garbled text/no calendar.

Please can you check your error_log file in the root of Joomla!?! I suspect you have a php memory error where it needs increasing.

My site is hosted by Godaddy. When I accessed the php.ini file, there isn't a line that reads "Max Input Vars." Could it be in a different place? Should I add it?

I have now successfully added the Max_Input_Vars line and everything looks fine internally.

Unfortunately, I am still hearing from a lot of people that the calendar won't display. Instead, they are seeing a line of jumbled text.

I can't seem to find any common denominator. The people that are having problems are using Firefox, Explorer, Chrome and Safari. Some have the latest version of their browsers, others do not.

This has become a major issue for our business.

Would really appreciate any help you can offer.

Memory limit is 64M.

I can't attach the error log. System won't allow it. I can try to paste some o fit here, but I get an "access denied" error when I paste the whole log.

Most of these are perl and cgi script errors and nothing to do with Joomla/php I'm afraid.

PROBLEM SOLVED!

I uninstalled JCE and the calendar started displaying for all of my clients who were reporting this issue.

It also solved the problem I was having with not being able to save new calendar events through the front-end.
