Hello,

1 / I want to use with Joomla JEvents 3
What addon that is compatible with J! 3?
None is marked enabled in the list!?

2 / event
I created a category with the holidays in France (importing a google with ical)
I want the opportunity to warn that there is a recovery date but allowing the recording
I feel that this is not possible?

Hello HDcms,

Pretty much all are now Joomla and JEvents 3.0 compatible. We are still needing to test under 3.1. RSVP Pro is in beta stages on 3.0.

Can you elaborate on number 2 please?

Regards
Tony

Hi,

Thank you for the quick response

I want to register an event, even if I have a warning that there is another event (eg holidays)

Hello Herve,

No problem. To confirm I understand correctly, you want to be able to Create an event and have a warning if there is another event? If so this functionality is built in.

Tony

Hi Tony,

I confirm.
I want to register an event even if there is a warning !

I tried several combinations of parameters

Each category / parameters:
Check for overlapping events? Yes Or No

General Requirements:
Editing an event:
Check recoveries events before recording?
Yes Or No
Check all conflicts before saving?
Yes Or No

I did not avertisssement OR I have a warning :"events can not overlap" but I can not save

Hello,

You can only set it to check and block over lapping events.

Are you wanting it to warn you but allow you to save if there is an overlapping event?

Tony

Hello,

Sorry I do not understand <!-- s:? --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_confused.gif" alt=":?" title="Confused" /><!-- s:? -->

If it is possible, thank you to tell me the configuration or settings.
If it is a bug, I think you will solve
If it is an added feature, thank you to tell me if you integrate it into the next update.

My need is just to be aware (warning) other events (the same time)->
For me to choose, if I change the date or if I create this new event

Regards
Hervé

Hello Herve,

At present NO it is not possible to have just a warning but still be able to save the event.

This is a feature we are currently looking into.

Tony

Hi,

Ok if you decide to program soon as a new feature, you can tell me.

This is important for my users to have the option to save (or not) an event (same time)

Thank you for the quick response

You could create a template override for the event editing page that would warn the creator of the overlap and then ask them 'are you sure' before going ahead and saving the event.

We could help you implement this override in the silver/gold member forum
