A client recently wanted to show JEvents Events within a Sobi Page to keep everything in a central location, yet be very informative.
To do this we used:
- Sobi Pro
- JEvents CCK Plugin
- JEvents Embed Plugin
After installing, configuring and enabling the above we are ready to get configuring!
- Go to Sobi Pro -> Application Manager -> Template Manager -> 'Your Template' -> entry -> details.xsl
- Find the place you want your events to be listed (This will be displayed like the JEvents Latest Events Module)
- Add this code: {spjevents=<xsl:value-of select="entry/@id" />}
- Now click save
- Next you must enable Section Config->General Config=>Template Data=>Parse Template Output = Yes
- Edit or create your event within JEvents, and select the Sobi Lisiting the event should belong too.
- When viewing the Sobi Page on your site you should now see a list of events.
