I upgraded to the latest version 3.4.33 using the Joomla Updater. After the upgrade I have no events listed on the webpages. I use both Latest Events module on every page and a summary of the upcoming events as a menu item (event listing). I have this problem both on my test server and also in production.

Problems seems to be fixed. I have a multilingual website. I have 2 main categories in JEvents: nl-NL and en-GB. Each of these main categories has 6 subcategories underneath. To list the events in Latest Events and as a list from a menu-item I used either category nl-NL or en-GB to list the different events Including the 6 sub-categories). Up to JEvents 3.4.27 it was working fine, but after upgrading to 3.4.33 I "lost" all events on the frontend. I finally removed nl-NL en en-GB from "Select categories - leave blank for all" and replaced nl-NL / en-GB with the 6 subcategories that are listed under these two main categories. See screenshot

Hello,

Yes you also need to do the same with menu items. We fixed a logical flaw in the categories method. Sometimes you wouldn't want to include sub categories in the view but previously had no way of achieving this.

Many thanks
Tony
