I am attempting to format a newsletter using tags and am unable to find the right syntax to display my custom fields. I am currently using Acymailing 6 and at this time the custom fields are unavailable to me through the drag and drop interface.

I have successfully managed to get the title and description along with a readmore link to display but cannot get any custom fields.

I am trying to use something like this: {jevents:313|type:full | custom | readmore}

Any help would be much appreciated

Hello,

What acymailing plugin are you using? It is possible if you are using their plugin that our custom fields are not supported

Many thanks
Tony

Yes, that's true ....." I am currently using Acymailing 6 and at this time the custom fields are unavailable to me through the drag and drop interface."

But I have successfully accessed the custom fields previously by using this tag: {jevents:313|type:full | custom | readmore} -(or something similar). Except that this isn't exactly right. I had to completely uninstall acymailing and reinstall and in the process lost the snippet of code that worked properly.

There is a trick to the "custom" part and I can't recall it.

Any one know?

As far as I am aware they do not support JEvents custom fields. But if you were using the JEvents Acymailing plugin that should work but has less of an interface?

Many thanks
Tony

Tony,

It worked in acymailing 6 quite recently, I have simply forgotten the correct syntax.

Is there anything you can share regarding the tag syntax that might refresh my memory or shall we're sick with "it's not supported" and move on?
