How would I get it to so when someone searches for an event in the calendar, it only displays results for upcoming events? Calendar items are never unpublished... you have to delete all of them manually for them not to show up in search results, it seems. The only way to solve this would for only upcoming events to be seen in the search results.

Let me know what different options there are. Thanks!

Hello,

I think what you want is the JEvents Timelimit Plugin which is available to silver members.

This allows you to stop displaying events after a past timeframe.
