Hello,

Thanks for this good software, I use it in the site of my association.

Is it possible to have, on the same page ,
1 ) the future events in an ascending order
2) then, in a second "panel", past events in a descending order ?

I've got this but in 2 separate pages, by calling the componant from 2 different items of the menu "agenda", as you can see here and there
but I must group them in one

Thanks a lot for your responses

Hello Isabelle,

That's great to hear!

1) This is possible if you use a JEvents Range View Menu item and you can then adjust the ordering etc.
2) Correct, again same as above but a different menu item :-)

Alternatively... You could try and use the JEvents Latest Events Module which allows reversing the order.

Finally you could use a menu item with a coded template override to have the date then duplicate it in reverse too.

Many thanks
Tony

It is important that I have the result IN THE SAME ARTICLE.

I have already tried with two "JEvents Latest Events Module" within an article, the first in an ascending order, the second in an descending order, but the second one should show only past events. I failed ....

So my question is :

How can I have a "JEvents Latest Events Module" with only past events in a descending order ?

Thanks a lot for your response.

Hello,

So you can do this with the latest events module. If you use the JEvents Time Limit Plugin then you can set the date range on that past events module and set future events to 'now'.

Many thanks

Great :D !! it works with 2 modules ("JEvents - Latest Events Module";) in the same article. Thank you so much !!

However, I still have problems with the display of my events

Some of the spread on several days : each day appears as a paragraph, so an event which last for 2 weeks appear 14 times !

As you can see here

I would like to have only one with beginning date and last date. For instance :

02 Nov 2019 - 11 Nov 2019
12h00AM
Salon Marjolaine

Is it possible ?

Thank you very much, tonyP, my multidays event display only once. With just the starting date

But, it is not possible to get the starting date and the ending date on the same line like :
02 Nov 2019 - 11 Nov 2019
Salon Marjolaine

Hello,

That should be possible with some custom html/shortcodes. Instead of using the repeat summary tag, replace that with start/end ?

Many thanks
Tony
