Hi, since the update to "Jevents 3.6" creating and changing events does not work anymore for me, even after a new installation the error remained the same. With the manual installation of 3.5.47, Jevents now works again.

I cannot attach a screenshot (unsopported format) the error occurred in the frontend as well as in the backend.
I have added the access data for the frontend

Greetings
THomas

I have also found the solution on my site. For me it was the german language file that caused the error. There is already an open ticket. I needed a little time to understand it, but now I can reproduce it reliably.

Hello,

Can we get a screenshot of the error? Maybe zip it up?

Many thanks
Tony

Hello Tony, I was able to upload a zip file.

Now I am surprised this morning, I had adjusted the rights because the user I gave you was only unlocked in one category and the settings were not yet correct.
I was just able to create an event again, but in the backend I still get the same error. I have made a screenshot of it for you.
Funnily enough I had the phenomenon in the frontend that after the last minor update it worked again in the back and frontend, one day later the error message came back.

I have the same problem, I only use the backend for editing and ading events. The old version 3.5.47 works, but the new do not.

Edit:
The strangest thing. I have been destroying a copy of the site without luck, after everything was removed it suddenly worked. Back to start, restore new copy site, did a few adjustments, and it worked. So back to live site, try to recreate steps, and suddenly it worked. I have RSFirewall installed and have protected my user from changes, so I removed protection on user, edited user without actually doing any changes, just enter user and save user. Editing and creating events works again. It also workes after reenableing protection for user.

I do not know what does this, but could be a user setting that was missing for the new version that was set when saving the user.

I have similar problems with 3.6; its about the editicalJQ.js that keeps complaining about temp.getYMD() being an illegal function call and therefore unable to process the calendar items. This causes the event to become unsavable.
Im going to revert to an older version and not update until this gets fixed.

After manual upload of 3.5.47 zip package - events can be added again.

3.6 is broken.

Additional background: joomla 3.8.10 , previous installed version of jevents: 3.6.6. (now seeing that as a request for update).

Upgrading to 3.6 brought other problems, then upgrading to 3.6.30 gave me the origin problems again. So it's definately not working with my joomla version.
