Since upgrading to Jevents 3.4.4 our site has stopped showing the event details on the individual event page; so editing etc seems fine and
...http://index.php/events/year.listevents/2016/01/12/-
shows a list of events with dates etc, but clicking on a link like
http://index.php/events/icalrepeat.detail/2016/01/13/748/-/test
shows no detailed text, just the "by year" and other icons. I've done an uninstall then reinstall of Jevents and problem remains
server error reporting shows no php error messages...
Any suggestions welcome.

Please check:
JEvents -> Custom Layouts -> Event Detail
Try publishing this to see if that helps. If it doesn't delete everything in it save it, then save again and see if it helps?
If it still doesn't have a look in:
/templates/your_template/html/com_jevents
If that folder exists, you have overrides which need updating.

Fixed!
I unpublished Custom Layouts >Event Detail Page, then tried to republish it which produced this error message:
"You are attempting to publish a customised layout that is the same as the default layout - it has therefore NOT been published since this is not necessary and can lead to complications at a later date. You should only publish a layout if it has been customised."
looked at the event detail page and they now work
