Hi Guys,
I installed JEvents and find it very great for displaying dates and events. At the moment I'm trying to build up a website for a sports club with several sections. Therefore I wanted to import events to the existing calender.

Unfortunately I don't find any possibility to import events. I found the template for importing and exported my events as csv.

Can anybody help me where I can find the button for importing? If you need further information please let me know.

Thanks in advance and best regards from Germany

Hey Benjamin,

So you have two ways. You can see the initial one in this video:

You can also enable frontend imports and then click import in the frontend under the Add Events link in the admin nav panel.

Many thanks
Tony

Hi Tony,
thanks for your quick response. Option 1 is at the moment no possibility because we have already some events created and I want to use the import for adding new events to the existing events.

For option 2, I still don't find the import button. I attached some screenshots with my settings.

If you need furhter information, don't hesitate to contact me.

Hello,

2. This is frontend import only. You can go to: Jevents Configuration -> Ical Import/Export

Set: Allow Frontend Import of Events -> Yes

Then in the frontend below the Event List / monthly views you will see an Import Event link at the bottom of JEvents. Note, you need to be logged in as an admin to see it.

Many thanks
Tony

Hi Tony,
thanks againg for the quick and well support. With your feedback I was able to import a CSV file, although it is a little bit comlicated by doing this by this way.

For further versions I would appreciate if the import is directly possible via the administrative backend

The ticket can be closed.

Best regards
Benjamin
