Lately my export of a list of events does not work any more (latest Joomla, latest Jevents).
I created a List of Events Menu item. Then in the menu item I set: Export results as CSV file to yes.

Then I access this menu item in the frontend and the csv file was created. This has always worked, but now the file that is created is empty. I haven´t done the export for a while, so I am not sure if the issue is related to the latest two JEvents updates. (now it is JEvents 3.4.54).

I would really appreciate any suggestion.

The CSV export is created using a template override - its not standard functionality.

What is the code of your override?

Thank you for your reply. I am surprised to hear that there must be an override. We have succesfully used this export feature but are quite sure that we did not write an override.

Do you have a documentation on how to create an override especially for this or do you offer this as a service? I desperately need this feature for a client.

Thank you

So sorry about this, Geraint's mind might be slipping... We adding a new feature a year ago to output the list of events via as a CSV.

Can you provide super user logins and confirm the menu Item in question and I will get this looked into for you.

Many thanks
Tony

Hello,

We are looking at the issue but I fear it's not down to JEvents. I cannot replicate it locally at all. The view gets the data, it's like something is overriding the view but not layout overrides for that exist.

I've asked geraint to look into it for you.

Many thanks
Tony

I have found the cause of the problem and will include a fix in the next release (tomorrow I hope)

Hi Geraint,

I have installed the latest update, but the problem is still there.

Could you be so kind to take a look at it once more?

Thank you!
