Hello

After updating to version 3.6.10 custom layout in different languagegs works only once. After saving I get an error page when trying to edit the layout again. See attached pic.

The first time it works fine, and changes take effect. But then I only get this error in both languages (English and German).

Hi Atan S

I'm sorry for the confusion - I appear to have uploaded my testing server version of the xml file instead of the live updating server version :(

I've corrected that now.

Thanks for highlighting the issue.

It works perfectly for me using 'save' and continuing to edit and also using 'save and close' and re-editing - I tried various different layouts (event detail, event editing etc.) and editing the root layout and its translations (published and unpublished)

Can you tell me which layout you are editing?

Are you translating the layout or editing the root layout?

Can you enable Joomla debug mode temporarily so we can see the context of the error message.

I'm editing icalevent.edit_page and trying to translate it. After saving the translation I get this error when trying to edit it again.
Editing the root layout works fine.

But it's only shown, when I don't select a specific category. When I select the standard category the icalevent.edit_page doesn't show though it's assigned to the standard category.

An error has occurred.

That is strange - I realised there is an issue with filtering the layouts in JEvents 3.6.10so that you can't find category specific event edit layouts. This will be fixed in the Jevents 3.6.11 - which will be released later today.

Do I interpret your screenshot correctly - that you only have one category set up in JEvents?

Is is possible to get login details (on the private site details tab below) to take a look at how your site is set up and why its not working for you but it does for me.

Hi,
i've the same problem about update jEvents from 3.6.10 to 3.6.11.
And when I click on the link, the error message is: "The website is not available"
I had updated another website 2 hours earlier, and it was ok.
If anyone had any idea what's wrong ?
Best wishes at all for the new year
