After upgrading from a joomla 2.5.x install with JEvents v3.1.39 to a joomla 3.5.x install upgraded to JEvents v3.4.50 and all categories and events are gone. I have no idea where to search to fix this. In de database I see that all the tables are there and filled. Adding a test event shows up in the table also, but in the backend I see only the test event, no categories or events.

Hello,

It sounds as though you were using the old categories table in JEvents 3.1 we migrated to the Joomla! Core.

So you have two options, one export the events from the old website via the iCal export if you were just using the core. Otherwise it is a case of going into the categories, creating the new ones and getting the ids, get the old categories ids and map them out, then run sql queries to update your events catid to the new catid if that makes sense?

Many thanks
Tony
