Hi,

I've just added an event list page to my website at www[dot]lcbb[dot]org[dot]uk, in addition to the existing event calendar. When I click on an event in the list, the event detail page looks different to the same event clicked on from the calendard. Can someone see or suggest any obvious reason why that might be and, if it's a JEvents configuration setting I need to change, which one might it be?

For examples just go to the website, hover over the Events menu and click on each option then choose one of the events. Unfortunately I'm new so not allowed to post direct links!

One thing I have noticed is that I've got the Event Calendar set to use the "ext" layout. If I set it to "default" or "geraint", it doesn't have this issue. I guess that narrows it down a bit but any further suggestion on how I can get the calendar to look like it does with the "ext" view (which I like the most!) but the event detail to look like it does with the other views would be appreciated.
Many thanks
John

Hello,

Its very possible a custom override for categories have be added in:

JEvents -> Custom Layouts -> Event Detail

You can select categories from the top drop downs. Check them all.

Thanks
Tony

Thanks for your message; I've been through all those already and don't see anything that looks like it would do that. What I have noticed though is that, for the event details launched from the Event Calendard, using the "ext" style, there are extra styles in use. For example, the event title style (which is h2) is showing as:

#jevents_body h2 {
background-image: url("../images/box_left_icon.gif";);
background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-position: left center;
padding-left: 13px;
font-size: 11px;
margin: 0px;
color: #606F79;
}

Which is basically overriding the CSS that's in place in the details launched from the list, i.e.

.jevbootstrap h2 {
font-size: 31.5px;
}

Hello,

So check the JEvents Config and the Menu Items option for the JEvents Layout selected and make sure they are all set to use Global and then in the JEvents Config set one layout you want.

Thanks
Tony
