Since the last JEvents update, my users can't create content in the Front End.
I have menu options for "Create an Article" and "Create an Event" which I've had to disable as they generate an error message

0 Call to undefined method JEventDispatcher::getContent()

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling JEvents but it doesn't make any difference.

The only way it seems to work is if I change the permissions so that the "Public" user group can create articles/events. But even with that, it only works so long as you don't log in. As soon as a user is logged in, the same error occurs.

Any suggestions?

Hello,

Firstly make sure you update to JEvents V3.4.48.

Secondly, enable Joomla! Debug mode and you will see a stack trace, I doubt the error is JEvents related given it is on the Joomla! Articles as JEventDispatcher is a core Joomla! class and has nothing to do with JEvents.

Many thanks
Tony
