Custom Fields

This plugin allows you to add custom fields to JEvents and Locations and People manager to make your Events site unique. It also provides great features like setting different permissions for each custom field, or using these custom fields in your filters.

  • You can extend your events creation form with these fields:
    • Boolean (yes/no)
    • Calendar/Date (with date picker popup)
    • Community Builder field (fixed value from profile or editable)
    • Checkbox
    • Email address
    • Event Flag (a special field type that allows you to creat a personal event planner for site visitors)
    • Files and Images (this requires the standard file/image addon to be installed too)
    • Guid
    • HTML/Wysiwyg editor field
    • Instructions (these are instructions for the event creator and are not visible in the event detail pages)
    • Select list (either single or multiple selection)
    • Joomla Menu item
    • Radio boxes
    • Text field
    • Text area field (with the option to allow HTML or not)
    • URL
    • Joomla user
    • Youtube/Vimeo video
  • Show your Custom Fields all over JEvents pages and modules
  • Extend your searches to your Custom Fields
  • Filter your events according to your Custom Fields
  • Allow different access levels for each Custom Fields
  • Set your Custom Fields as required when creating an event
  • Use matching events feature based on Custom Fields
  • Show different Custom Fields according to events category

For Joomla! 2.5 and up, please use the 3.x Version making sure you are using JEvents 3.x.
Joomla! 1.5 versions are no longer supported.
