Smartphone Layout

I am pleased to announce a new layout for JEvents 2.1+ available to silver and gold members of the JEvents Club.

This layout is called "Smartphone"and is specifically designed to optimise the layout of the events list and calendar for smartphones and tablets.  You would install and use the smartphone layout alongside one of the other club layouts e.g. Iconic - when JEvents pages are viewed using a smartphone or tabled the smartphone layout is automatically selected instead of the main layout.   We support the Joomla, MobileJoomla and Joomlaart functions for recognising the device being used.

Note that the monthly calendar layout is not a calendar grid but is switched to a list view which is more suitable for a phone or tablet display.
