Does JEvent do it ?

With JEvents and the gold member addons you can do all of the above APART from
1. There is no way to take a fee for you when the event creator gets paid

we want to get fees about this and give the creator his money less our fees.

Paypal has an experimental tool for making split payments but this has not been implemented in RSVP Pro. You do have the option to charge event creators for creating events on your site as an alternative.

2. Slideshow would need some basic javascript/css to convert the presentation of the latest events module into a slideshow.

3. Tickets can be printed but not barcodes - I have prototype code working for barcodes/QR codes which can be printed on the tickets but this is not in the production system at present.

4. Early bird discounts is a feature which we are planning to implement - we already have support for coupons and deposits so its simply a matter of us combining the functionality.

All in all the biggest obstacle is directing payments to 2 different payees when an attendee makes a booking. There is no easy way to resolve this I'm afraid.

1- So, I can't charge the creator for creating an event because I want to charge depending on the number of sold tickets
2- For the slideshow, I think so, but I didn't want to modify the code and have do it again if I have an update, but I think about it. I modify a slideshow module (with css) of another event component. But the component do not suite me anymore and unfortunately, I have to keep the slideshow view like this, event if I change component:-S

3 - when Ticket are printed, is there a unique number or the attendee name with it ??? Can I choose an image for the ticket? When do you think the barrecode or QR code will be on the ticket??

4 - Well, waiting for the early bird featured !! meanwhile, I will try to do with multiple price feature.

5 - about the last point, I do not want to pay to different people. What I want is : when the user paid on paypal and payment has been checked, the component change automatically the payment status of the user. In a lot of components, I have to do it manually after checking the payment, it's hard. On the other side, if you talk about our fee, we do not want to have the payment, just a field which indicates how many we have to pay our creator when we take our fees (we will determine), that's it.

I really think I will choose JEvents.

2. Sideshow - this is something I've been looking into and will look to add as a club member featrure.
3. Yes - there is a unique number that can be printed on the tickets. Barcode/QR code development is really waiting for a gold member who needs it - I will then work with them on the implementation and testing to get it finished
5. RSVP Pro will change the user's status when the payment is approved.

If you use capacity counting in RSVP Pro then you will get a count of the attendees and a list of the attendees in the list of sessions in the backend of Joomla.

So, it barrecodes/QR codes and slideshow (with image, title, price and dates/hours) arrive sooner, I think I will choose JEvents. For this moment I can't purchase JEvent + a slideshow modules. It becomes so expensive.

Unfortunately, I have the pressure of time. So I look for a component quickly.

No, I'm not. My english is poor.

On some calendar modules, when you put the cursor over a specific date, it displays the number of events published for this date, their names, hours....

Can I have a reply for others questions please? I know, I ask so much questions, sorry, but I do not want to invest in another component I will not use. I have ever lost money.

Do you mean limit the number of events users can create? you would need the paid event submission plugin for this

Yes, about the limitation of event number, I mean the number of event a user of a specific usergroup can create, because I want to create a process with CBSubs where the user can purchase a one year subscription with which he will be in a specific usergroup, then he will able to create certain number of events.

I will think about it.

I actually modified the Paid Event Submission to upgrade a users group and downgrade when they run out of credit should you wish these are options.

Now, you could use just CSubs with the Paid Event Submission and map a query into the CSubs SQL Query.
However, this would require knowlage of php/MySQL and is quite complex.

If you find JEvents is not usable for your purposes we do offer a refund within 30days.

I am so glad to know you propose this offer. But I have to wait the barrecode and slideshow features because I want to try them during these 30days. I can't do without slideshow and I don't want neither buy another modules nor modify your code so much (because of updates). I will have to modify it a little bit, because I want to add a condition for displaying the events. I have a 3rd component with a calendar where I'll put some event name. So, I want the module displays only events which are in this calendar. I have ever done it on my actual module, so I will be able to do it again. In the slideshow I will have, I just want to modify this part of the code and de style with CSS...if it's possible

This is a CSubs topic really. But basically, rather than having the paid events plugin handle the query on checkout and update the database / Virtuemart you could manually map it. I.E. on checkout of SCubs run this query, give user x 100 event tokens.

I have never done it, but it is in theory possible.

I know Geraint is planning the slideshow relatively soon...

No it is a set fee. You could I suppose duplicate the plugin with a new name etc and have multiple plugins doing the same thing for different usergroups..

But this maybe tricky with the PaidEvents Product in VM
