I am able to edit articles in the front end of my website and I can add events to the calendar but I don't have any type of edit button or an edit option for the calendar. Here's my site: http://maumeevp.org

Anyone know how to fix this so select registered users can edit existing events?

Thanks!

Code: Select all
Joomla : 2.5.6
component_com_jevents : 2.2.5
module_mod_jevents_cal : 2.2.0
module_mod_jevents_filter : 2.2.0
module_mod_jevents_latest : 2.2.4
module_mod_jevents_legend : 2.2.3
plugin_editors_jce : 2.2.9.1
plugin_search_eventsearch : 2.2.0 (not enabled)

Hello,

Please upgrade Joomla to 2.5.9, there were security bugs fixed.

Plugin update JEvents to at least 2.2.8, ideally 3.0.9.

Then, in the event detail you should see an edit icon on the right?

Regards
Tony

Thanks for the suggestions. I did both and still don't see it. In the configuration panel under event editing I do have yes selected for the front end edit in popup. I tested this in Mozilla and Explorer.

Code: Select all
Joomla : 2.5.9
component_com_jevents : 3.0.9
component_com_jce : 2.2.9.1
module_mod_jevents_cal : 3.0.9
module_mod_jevents_filter : 3.0.9
module_mod_jevents_latest : 3.0.9
module_mod_jevents_legend : 3.0.9
module_mod_jevents_switchview : 3.0.9
plugin_finder_jevents : 3.0.9
plugin_search_eventsearch : 3.0.9
plugin_system_langoverride : 1.3.4 (not enabled)

I figured it out. Here's the solution in case anyone else is having this issue.

Go to custom layouts and select the Event Detail Page.

On the left side where it says select field scroll down to Edit Button. This will place the proper code in the document so you will see the edit icon.
