Hello

After making an event, I can't edit or delete it: "Sorry - This item may have been updated while you have been viewing the webpage. Please try again"
I found the same problem on this forum but no solution. I figured out that the problem is caused by the access. Even as super user, you can't change an event when the access is f.i. registered, because the calendar must have public access. This is very confusing.
How can I, as super user, edit (backend) an event with a different access level then the calendar?

Hello,

Is the Authorised User Mode enabled?

Regards

JEvents 3.0.10 out in the next week or two will block the creation of events that the creator is not authorised to view.

Fine, but why can't the super user (who has all permissions) edit/delete an event with an access level other than public? How can I 'reach' that event?

As I said - this is fixed in the next release which will be out in the next couple of weeks.

We are using the Joomla method to get the user's authorised access levels and this is stricter than you would expect for super users.

Hello Geraint

Thank you for the support.
Meanwhile I found out that on the access level you choose for an event, you must set permissions always to 'public' too. That way, you can access all the events. Well, I worked for me...
