Hi,

My Joomla is V2.5.9
JEvents is V3.09.
Had the same troubles with V2.2.8.

The end time of many events shows one hour later than configured in the event editing.
The events are all repeated events.
Some are correct but I can't see the differences in the event editing. It looks the way it should there. The end time is set correctly there.
Sometimes the overview list shows differences.

I checked the date format to continental German.
I checked 24 hour to no (actually it has no effect it only shows the end time one hour later on a 12 hour scale)

in teh event editing the specific end date for repeating events is set to the repeat counts every time.

The time zone in Jommla is set to europe/Berlin which is correct.

What did I miss?
I'm grateful for any help.

best regards

Yes I did.
The joomla timezone is Europe / Berlin.
The Same time zone i entered in the JEvents configuration.
In the FAQ, i read that only registered customers are able to set the time zone.
But how do i tell JEvents my registration.

Best regards

Bernd

Which events are causing the problem?
Can you tell us exactly how you set the start/end times for one of these events on the editing page?

Hi,

I examined the problem a little deeper.
Actually everything works fine
EXCEPT
in the week when the daylight saving time changes and in the week before the change. That was when I noticed the problem.

It happens also in autumn. The differnece there is not an additional hour but an hour less.

Interesting is, that some events are affected and some not. I can't tell the difference beetween them.

When I edit them I just did my input. All the events are repeating events and I used an end date 1 year in the future.
But when I open the event in the backend of joomla the parameter for the repeating events stands on a count of 100 and NOT on the end date.

Once again my ealier question.
How do I tell JEvents that I'm a registed user?
I found in the FAQ only registered user may change the time zone.

Best regards

Bernd

Are some of your events imported from an external calendar?
