JEvents 1.5 (No longer actively supported)

JEvent's date filter is changing for past dates undesirably

JEvents 2.0 was launched over 2 years ago and the latest stable version is version 2.2 which will run on Joomla 1.5 and Joomla 2.5. JEvents 1.5 is therefore no longer actively supported - you should upgrade to JEvents 2.2+ as soon as possible.

Hi, dudes.

I've been facing a little trouble with JEvent. In our Web site, supported by Joomla 1.5.23 compatible with J! 1.0, we have the latest events module v1.5.0 alpha2 installed. On our left menu, we put trhee links of type JEvent, each one filtered by an specific category. It's fine. It works.

When we click on one of these links, we can see all events from the current date for the specified category which the link is associated to. However, sometimes the date set for filtering automatically changes for past dates and then obsolete events are shown. For example, today is Feb 2nd 2013; when I access the link for the first time, the events whose date is set from this day on are shown. Later on, if I access again, it could be the date is automatically change for, let's say, August, 1st 2011.

Is there some parameter I can set to avoid this undesirable behaviour?

Thanks in advance ;-)

If you are stuck on Joomla 1.5 then you should upgrade to Joomla 1.5.26 and JEvents 1.5.6 (see ... nd-running)
